I've recently warched an American movie "Noel" on TV.
This film concers a woman, Rose tired from working and
taking care of her mother.
Although there's a young man who asks Rose out,
somehow, she feels a bit scared to be happy.
I think it is painful for her to take care of her mother,
who has changed so much because of Alzheimer's
disease, that she can't recognize her daughter.
She won't eat anything and talk no matter how
hard her daughter tries to get her to do so.
I think that's why she's got anxiety about establishing
But Rose is a woman full of mercy. She feels sympathy
for a patient bedridden in the next room to her mother's,
because there's no one to visit the patient even when
Christmas is drawing near.
She hangs an angel-shaped ornament on the window
of the patient's room, saying "I love you" to him.
And, "I'm happy for him." says someone's voice.
That was a visitor to the patient, who appeared
As she spent Christmas with this mysterious visitor,
She became pleasanter and more alive than before.
Although this movie has a certain mystery,
I decided not to write about that for those who
haven't seen it. The mystery remains the mystery.
